Dog parks were considered in the Township’s upcoming Parks and Recreation Master Plan, “A Decade of Play,” which will guide parks, infrastructure, and recreation services over the next 10 years.

The master plan recommends including a dog park within a new park in the Amherstview West Secondary Plan area. This approach would ensure the space complements, rather than competes with, existing park uses. It also recommends a second dog park at Odessa Centennial Park, a location already informally used for this purpose and well-suited due to its accessibility, parking, and natural shade.

Currently, there is no active dog park development project underway.

Dog Park Information can be found in PRMP on Pages 124 & 125 at the link below

Pickleball courts were considered in the Township’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan, “A Decade of Play,” which will guide parks, infrastructure, and recreation services over the next 10 years.

Currently, Bath has a total of eight (8) pickleball courts. The need for additional casual-use facilities should be met by providing four new courts within the Amherstview West Secondary Plan area.

Currently, there is no pickleball court development project underway.
