We are preparing to extend our water and sewer networks to the lands that will be developed in the Amherstview West Secondary Plan area. The diagram below shows the locations where our contractor will install the connections crossing under County Road 6. Three watermains will be installed, at Walden Pond Drive, Amherst Drive, and Kildare Avenue; and one sanitary sewer will be in the area of Jack Kippen Drive, currently under construction.

These will be installed as stubs until development begins in the lands west of County Road 6. The installation of each will require a full cut of County Road 6 and will result in single lane closures, which is likely to cause traffic delays.

The work is planned for May and June 2025. We will deliver notices to all properties with County Road 6 addresses in the project area, and will update information here as the timeline becomes better known.
